Lessons Learned

  • i took hoses back off tryed only running cold water side didnt fix tryed only using hot water side didnt fix it i dont know what else to try

Mary Marlowe Leverette, About.com Laundry & Laundry Rooms, says:

It could be a bad water level pressure valve in your washer or a low pressure leak because of a silt buildup in the water valve filter screen. It could be that your brother in law did not get the filters completely clean.

Turn your water off. Disconnect the water hoses. Look for silt inside the water valve opening. If present, clean it out and rehook water hoses. If no silt is present, replace your water valve.

You can find operating and repair manuals here.

Good luck!
