My Laundry Question

All the instructions for Rit Color Remover are using a top loader, I can not figure out how to use the color remover product with a front loader without flooding my laundry room.

Help

Share a Little Background Info

Without asking my husband put a brand new RED tablecloth in with his whites: socks, undies, undershirts, etc... needless to say he now has light pink undies. Normally I would say tough - you should have asked first, but he managed to find MY white turtleneck and in it went too.

Lessons Learned

  • Washed them with Clorox
  • No, I did not read him the riot act - I realize how lucky I am to have a husband that is willing to do laundry! (He cooks too)

Fabric Content of Item (if appropriate)

All items cotton

Mary Marlowe Leverette, About.com Laundry & Laundry Rooms, says:

Well, we all have to learn from our mistakes! To use the Rit Color Remover in a front load washer, put the product directly into the washer drum and add your stained clothes. Then follow the directions by adding the hot water and so on.

Your other option is to use a bathtub or large sink to soak the stained clothes.

Good luck!
