My Laundry Question
If using homemade laundry detergent in my he front loading washing maching do I add the dry detergent in with the clothes or in the soap dispenser in the front of the machine
Share a Little Background Info
I'm a first time user of dry homemade laundry detergent and am a little confused on how to get it in my machine. I've only used liquid commercial HE products before and I don't want to harm my machine by doing something wrong.
- I'm trying to go green in as many ways as I can.

Homemade laundry detergent powder can easily be used in a front-load HE washer. You have two choices. Almost all front loaders have a detergent dispenser that can be modified between liquid and powdered detergent. For most washers, just remove the cup or divider and you are set to use powder. If you don't have your washer manual, you can find it here.
Your second option is to dissolve the homemade powder in a bit of warm water before putting in the dispenser. You will need to do this each time.
