My Laundry Question

I have ballpoint ink spots on white cotton clothing. Currently soaking in Clorox and water. It does not appear to be coming out. It happened when the clothing was washed and dried with ballpoint pen in the pocket of one item. The clothing has been through a washer and dryer cycle. What can I do next?

Mary Marlowe Leverette, About.com Laundry & Laundry Rooms, says:

First, take the clothes out of the chlorine bleach and water solution and rinse them. Allow them to air dry - no more heat to set the stain.

When they are dry, use some rubbing alcohol and white cotton cloth to work on the stained areas. Work slowly and follow these steps. It will take time and patience because the ink has been set by the dryer of the heat, but you should be able to remove the stains.
