Model 49962602. Ser. # CSW 0909881. It is five years old, and mainly used to wash towels for a spa. I now have it as home and us it daily . It has not cause any problems untill now. Has anyone else has this problem? Can it be fixed at home? or should a repair man be called.?
- I have unplugged the machine hoping it will restet itself, and also chose a different cycle and restarted it, but the same thing happens.
Mary Marlowe Leverette, About.com Laundry, says:If you see F21 error code it indicates a Long Drain error. This means that you have an obstruction somewhere in the drainage system. In most cases, it is a clog in the drain pump - coin, button, small sock. Clean it out carefully. Or, you may have something clogging the drain lines. Remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.
If this solution doesn't solve your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. The error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.
