My Laundry Question
I'm getting ready to rent a house that has LP gas, I've never dealt with gas or propane before. Anyway, the house has a line run and set up for a gas dryer from what I was told. I am looking to buy a dryer from someone that is a natural gas dryer, they told me that it won't work with LP gas. But I've read some sites saying yes it will, and some saying it will need a conversion kit? I'm quite confused. Could you please tell me wether or not I can hook a natural gas dryer up to a LP gas line without any problem or necessary conversion? Thank you!

All I was told is that it's an estate brand gas dryer. Confusion on wether or not I can hook up a natural gas dryer to a LP gas line without any problems.

Mary Marlowe Leverette, Laundry Guide, says:
Gas dryers come from the manufacturer ready to install with natural gas. However, you can easily convert the connection to LP (liquid propane) with a conversion kit. The kit comes with instructions, but note: This is not just a quick connector change. You must open the dryer and do conversion work on the gas burner. Here is a website that will give you more information.
If you need a repair manual for the dryer, you can find it here and conversion kits can be found here.
Good luck!
