New to market shelves in March 2011, Bounce Ironing Spray is an ironing product that can be used as an alternative to starch. The spray adds crispness to fabrics and helps the hot iron to glide easily over the fabric. Unlike starch, Bounce Ironing Spray does not flake off if applied too heavily or yellow fabrics if used with an iron that is too hot.
Manufactured by the OneCare Co., Bounce Ironing Spray contains patented polymers and the scent of Bounce Outdoor Fresh products. The polymers also pull humidity from the air while you wear your clothing, relaxing the fabric and preventing wrinkles from returning. It is safe on all fabrics. For dryclean only clothing, use on the wrong side of the fabric. For silk fabrics, test on an inside seam before using to be sure spotting does not occur.

The product comes in a 16 oz. spray bottle and retails around $2.99. The bottle is recyclable but does not contain any post-consumer use plastic.
I gave the Ironing Spray a try on cotton, linen and wool. It leaves a nice finish that is crisp but not stiff. There was no residue build-up on the clothes or the iron. The scent is pleasant but I would like to have less perfume. The shirts ironed with the product did still wrinkle but the creases were not as deep and sharp as they could be.
