I've seen the Original Space Bags on TV and in stores for many, many years. But I never had a need for them until I moved to a smaller home. Try as I might to rid myself of closets full of memories, I still have more than I should. But some of it is quilts made by my grandmothers and some of my children's baby clothes. Space Bags to the rescue.
I couldn't wait for shipping after buying them "as seen on TV" so I went to my local box retailer. I purchased the Storage Cube for the quilts and the Large Bag for the clothes. I put in my items following the packing guidelines. Zipped the bag and cube shut and attached my vacuum. Sucking the air out was fun as I watched the containers shrink to less than one half the original size.
I transferred the bags to a high shelf in my closet. It's been several weeks and they are still as airtight as day one. They are perfect for my storage needs.
