Tide Boost Vivid White + Bright
Tide Stain Release hit the market shelves in 2010 as a way to boost the performance of your laundry detergent. In early 2012, the name of the product was changed to Tide Boost. Tide Boost is available as a pre-wash spray, liquid formula, duo-pacs, duo-pacs with febreze, duo-pacs free and Vivid White + Bright.
Tide Boost Vivid White + Bright is safe to use in regular and high-efficency (he) washers. It is added directly to the washer tub - never placed in a dispenser drawer. The pac is added at the beginning of the wash cycle so it will dissolve in the fill water. One pac is recommended for an average load but two can be used for heavily soiled or large loads.
The pacs can also be used as a pre-soak by dissolving the pac in a gallon of warm water. Stir to make sure the pac is fully dissolved. Submerge your stained or yellowed garment and allow to soak for one to six hours. Then wash as usual.

The pacs have no waste since they dissolve in water. The outer bag is not recyclable in most areas. Tide Boost Vivid White + Bright are available in 10 count, 18 count, 28 count and 37 count bags.

Laundry Guide Recommendation
Tide Boost Vivid White + Bright pacs are very easy and convenient to use and perform well as a stain remover on most food and dirt stains especially those that have a tannin (dye) component. They are not as effective on heavy oily stains like grease. I do like that they can be used as a pre-soak to whiten dingy garments and linens.
I have found the most effective use of oxygen-based products is as a pre-soak. By giving the product time to work, you will get the best results in whitening. For especially dingy whites, a trip through the washer is just not long enough exposure to the whitening properties.
As with all single dose laundry products, the pac should be handled with dry hands to prevent early dissolving. The pacs should be kept away from children and pets to prevent accidental poisoning or eye injury when punctured.
Tide Boost Vivid + Bright are more expensive than other oxygen-based bleach boosters. However, only you can determine if they work as the best stain remover for you.
