Question: How do I remove grass stains from clothes?
Answer: To remove grass stains, first pretreat the stain with a heavy-duty liquid detergent like Wisk or Tide. Rinse well and then soak the garment in a solution of warm water and all-fabric nonchlorine bleach (OxiClean, Clorox 2, Country Save Bleach, Purex 2 Color Safe Bleach) for at least one hour. Launder as usual.
If the garment is dry clean only, point out and identify the stain to your professional cleaner. If you are using a home dry cleaning kit, be sure to treat the stain with the provided stain remover before putting the garment in the dryer bag.
