Concentrated laundry detergents have been around in one form or another since the 1960s. Sometimes called “ultra” products, these products offer the same cleaning properties as the old familiar detergents and also help the environment.
The key to using concentrated products is to make sure you us the right amount of detergent. Be sure to read the product label. Even experienced laundry-doers can guess the right amount incorrectly. There is no need to dilute or use the product any differently than regular detergent.
