In early 2012 Sun Products reformulated Wisk to create Wisk Deep Clean. There are now five Wisk Deep Clean options - Original, High Efficiency (he), Oxi Complete he, Fresh Breeze he and Free & Pure (he). Wisk Free & Pure is free of fragrances and dyes and you can learn more about it here. Let's take a look at all of the scented varieties.
About Wisk Deep Clean
In September 2011, Consumer Reports Magazine reported that the Wisk formula is one of the top performing detergents on the United States market. The new formula works even better to remove the body oil and sweat that is embedded in clothes. Did you know that the average washload contains 20 times more body oils and sweat than visible stains? Wisk Deep Clean was also awarded #1 product of the year in the laundry category in a TNS (TNS is the world's largest custom research agency) consumer survey of product innovation by over 50,000 consumers. The brand accepted the award February 29 during a special ceremony in New York City.
Wisk Laundry Detergent has a rich history that began in the 1950s and has long been promoted as a heavy-duty detergent that works well on stains. The new he formulas can also be used in regular washers but their low-sudings formulas can be used safely in any high-efficiency washers.
Each Wisk Deep Clean formula includes a general listing of ingredients on the label in both English and Spanish:

Laundry Guide Recommendation
I remember Wisk from my childhood. It was my mother's go-to detergent for my father's heavily-soiled work clothes. As I tried each of the "relaunched" Wisk Deep Clean formulas, I found them to perform just as well as I remembered.
I tested each of the formulas on our regular laundry as well as on stains of grass, ground in dirt and oil. Everything came out stain free and smelling fresh without a heavy perfume. The Wisk Oxi Complete offers the extra boost of brightening colors and whitening whites.
My biggest disappointment was that I could not easily read the measurement lines in the caps. Each variety uses a series of vertical lines to mark large and medium load levels of detergent that are impossible to see. I would suggest giving the product a try first by using less than the recommended amount and see if you are pleased with the results. Wisk is effective enough that you may not need a full "dose".
