There is no better choice to promote Tide Vivid White + Bright, than Betty White. This gal is so full of life, she is vivid and bright no matter what color she wears. I had the opportunity to work with Betty several years ago on a project and she is a genuinely lovely person. So down-to-earth and joyful, I want to be just like her when I'm in my nineties. Now let's see if the detergent can live up to its spokeswoman!
Tide Vivid White + Bright
Until mid 2012, this product was known as Tide plus Bleach Alternative. It has been rebranded as Tide Vivid White + Bright. The detergent is available in three formulas: HE liquid, Regular liquid and Powder. It is available in two scents: Original and Clean Breeze.
I tested the HE formula in Original Scent. It is available in the following sizes: 25 ounces, 40 ounces, 50 ounces, 75 ounces, 100 ounces, 150 ounces and 170 ounces.

Laundry Guide Recommendation
I tested Tide Vivid Bright + White on both white and colored clothes with various levels of soil and stains. Overall, I was very pleased with the results. The addition of an oxygen-based bleach to the Tide formula boosts cleaning power and is safe for all types of washable clothing. The only stains that proved a bit tricky were heavy oil stains that needed a pretreatment before washing. Fortunately, the liquid detergent can be used as a pretreater. I just worked a bit into the stains and allowed it to work for ten minutes before washing.
Tide Vivid Bright + White is a higher priced detergent per use but it does perform well in all water temperatures.
Tide recommends using Tide Boost Vivid White + Bright as a companion product with the detergent. Tide Boost contains additional oxygen-based bleach for additional cleaning.
