It is easy to see most stains on laundry - the tomato sauce, the oily drip or chocolate pudding. What is much tougher to see is the body soil and odor that is often invisible. Did you know that the average washload contains 20 times more body oils and sweat than visible stains? Sunlight Deep Clean promises to tackle those hidden odors and soils.

Laundry Guide Recommendations
I gave both formulas a test on our family laundry as well as a test cloth that was stained with ketchup, oil and red mud from the backyard. I tested Deep Clean Cold Water in a cold water wash and Fresh Rain in a warm water wash. Both performed exceptionally well. The clothes came out smelling fresh and the test cloths were stain-free. I did use a bit of the liquid to pretreat the stains by dabbing it on and working it into the fabric. I let the solution work for about fifteen minutes before I tossed it into the wash.
Canada's Sunlight Deep Clean is very similar to America's Wisk Deep Clean. It is rated as a heavy-duty detergent that contains more enzymes to battle tough stains.
The one flaw that I found is that the measuring cap lines are impossible to read. The caps are silver and the lines are as well. When I encounter this problem, I hold the cap under a bright light and use a permanent marker to mark the lines for easier reading.
Overall, I recommend that Sunlight Deep Clean find a spot on your laundry shelf. Your best choice is Deep Clean Cold Water if you are working to save energy costs in the laundry.
