Guide Review - Laundry Book

Betty's Book of Laundry Secrets by Betty Faust and Maria Rodale, published by Barnes and Noble, New York, 2001, is a cute little book but not what a novice needs to become an efficient laundry expert.

The 127-page book is filled with tips used by Betty to handle laundry. All the basics are covered but with little explanation. If your laundry problems are not routine, this book won't help much. But, Betty spends a great number of pages on ironing and folding clothes and linens. She even shares her pumpkin pie recipe.

There is a glossary of earth-friendly companies that offer laundry products, some of which are dated.

If you're looking for a good laundry reference guide, keep looking. While Betty offers an easy read and cute illustrations, I think you'll be disappointed if you want comprehensive material.
