How to Load a Clothes Dryer

By Mary Marlowe Leverette, About.com

Loading a clothes dryer is pretty simple. As you remove clothes from the washer, shake each piece to untangle. If different weight items have been washed together - heavy cotton towels and lightweight pajamas - dry them in separate loads.

Check the lint filter and clean it out if needed to help clothes dry more quickly. Select the proper drying cycle and begin. Use the moisture sensor drying cycle if one is available to prevent overdrying.

Remove clothes promptly and fold or hang to prevent wrinkling.
