It is a tradition in many households during Thanksgiving to share what each person is thankful for in their life. I have many blessings that rank first but I'm also thankful for today's modern laundry routine. Just imagine if you had to make your own soap. Build a fire to heat the water that you carried from a stream or well. Scrub every piece of clothes on a rough wash board and then carry more water to rinse away the soap.
Take a look at how laundry was handled in Colonial times and you just add laundry to list of thanks.
