The Silent Menace in the Laundry Room

By November 15, 2012

We should all be aware of the dangers of high blood pressure. It is a silent killer because most often there are no symptoms until a heart attack or stroke hits. Keeping an eye on your health is essential and quite often you can take measures to prevent or reduce the results of high blood pressure.

There is also a high pressure situation in your laundry room - the water hoses behind your washer. Everyday, the hot water and cold water hoses are under pressure and one day they will rupture. Even those that promise to never fail, will fail one day. And when they do, you'll have several inches of water everywhere!

But there is a way to prevent the problem. I've put together an article on inspecting, selecting and installing washer hoses. You'll thank me one day!

Just as high blood pressure puts stress on our arteries and can cause health problems, water pressure puts stress on our washer hoses and can cause leaks and repair problems. Check your washer hoses frequently!
