Product Review: Arm & Hammer Total 2-in-1 Dryer Cloths

Monday June 1, 2009

Arm & Hammer has introduced a new moist dryer cloth that combines fabric softener with the static reducing properties of a dryer sheet. The thicker cloth comes in a resealable plastic bag within a plastic container and you use it just like a regular dryer sheet. It eliminates the measuring of liquid fabric softener and remembering to put it in during the rinse cycle.

The Arm & Hammer folks sent me a container and I gave the Classic Fresh fragrance a try. I'm not a big fabric softener user so I really can't compare apple to apple. However, I will say that our clothes came out soft, static free and smelling fresh - not overly perfumed. I also used one of the cloths on a load of clothes that needed freshening after being wrinkled while stored. They, too, came out great.

The Total 2-in-1 cloths' suggested retail is $3.99 for 40 cloths - 10 cents per load. You can compare that to the cost of your fabric softener + a dryer sheet. And don't forget the convenience!

I bought these dryer sheets and I love them. However, I shop at several stores in the area and I don’t remember where I bought them. I’ve looked in the stores again and I can’t find them now. Where can I buy these?

Traci, Thanks for your input! I like them as well. To make dryer sheets last twice as long, cut them in half! You’ll never notice a difference and you’ve just cut your costs (and the dryer sheets) in half!

These are absolutely the best dryer sheets ever! And YES you can cut them in 1/2. They smell awesome and really soften your clothes. I was going to ask where to get them, and I will try Walgreens as I have not see them anywhere else. Can anyone tell me any other store that carries them?

You can order them directly from the company, $3.99 for a single box of 40 sheets or $9.99 for a 3 pack. The website is http://www.greatcleaners.com I think I originally got mine at Walmart.

You can also go to http://www.wetdryercloths.com and get a free box for just $3.99 shipping and handling, and there is the option to sign up for a 60 day autoship program on that. I ordered the free box.

I hope that they will be available all over soon!
