Say barbecue sauce and you're sure to start an argument over what type is best - red, yellow, vinegar, a blend. In central South Carolina, the sauce is yellow - mustard-based. Here's my favorite recipe and how to get out specific stains caused by the ingredients:
SC Mustard BBQ SauceCombine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Store in a tightly closed jar in the refrigerator. Great on pork or chicken. Makes about 1 cup.
